SUMMARY

A Staff/Principal engineer who embeds with growth-stage companies — SaaS, fintech, telco, e-commerce. Platform and SRE bias: architecture, CI/CD, observability, security compliance (SOC2, ISO 27001). Works across the stack; comfortable from 0→1 through scale. Writes code, leads teams, does both in the same week.

Hands-on development across the stack. Node.js, Python, TypeScript, Ruby/RoR, Java Spring Boot, Perl. React on the frontend. PostgreSQL, MySQL, MariaDB, ClickHouse, Redis, Kafka. Greenfield services and brownfield rescue work in equal measure.

AI-native: prompt engineering, context engineering, eval design, agentic workflows, and knowing where LLMs break. Security-first by default: OWASP, input sanitization, SAST/DAST in CI, secrets hygiene, dependency and supply-chain discipline. Prompt injection and LLM threat modeling for AI systems.

--ops
Platform, IaC, and SRE. CI/CD pipelines, VPN. Observability stacks from scratch — OTel, Grafana, Loki, Prometheus; Datadog and New Relic. Docker, k8s, AWS, GCP, Azure, DigitalOcean, Hetzner, on-prem. Security and compliance work for SOC2 and ISO 27001.

Agentic ops: AI-assisted incident response, LLM cost and latency observability, policy-as-code with AI review.

--lead
Technical leadership at Staff/Principal level. Architecture decisions, platform strategy, distributed team coordination across projects and time zones. Technical interviews, onboarding, and mentorship. MVP delivery. Contractor and agency management.

Helping teams adopt AI tooling without losing engineering rigor — evals over vibes, humans in the loop where it matters, clear policy on what ships to production.
